ESPN 360 workaround / Hello Big East Brethren!

Hello friends - I'm a regular poster on the Seton Hall Rivals board - I'm glad to see that you all trounced Cinnci - they are not good, to be sure, but what you did to them was impressive - since your arrival in the conference, I've rooted for the Bulls as underdogs and in fact we have a poster on our board who lives quite near the USF campus who keeps us up-to-date on some of the bball doings down there and it is good to see you are moving in the right direction (though bad that you have some huge frontcourt guys that are going to destroy us inside when you come up to NJ - hopefully, for our sake, our talented guards can counter at least SOME of that)

anyway, I found my way to this board through some extensive googling - the thing is, the ONLY way for us Hall fans to watch our contest tomorrow against Providence is through ESPN360 - it's a problem because, although there is no pay-per-view ESPN360 feature, you must have an ISP that subscribes to 360 to watch the game and many of us do not - and here I thought shelling out for ESPN Full Court would mean I'd get all the Hall games on ESPN - WRONG!

Well, in my googling I found an obscure thread from September here ( http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/index.php?s=a29fbed4a0784cf5dfc65fadfc927f09&showtopic=24153 ) that mentions that a poster on your site, The Sheriff (by the way, we have a player on our team, Stan Gaines, who goes by that moniker for his alleged shut-down defensive proficiency) was able to send out ESPN360 individual game invites to persons without access for one of your football games

To Sheriff and anyone else with 360 access: does this still work and if it does CAN YOU HELP A FELLOW BIG EASTER OUT?  I've spent (too) much time today reading through different ways to try to hack the system and can't get it done - and given that I can't even just go to a sports bar to see the game, things are getting desperate with Wednesday's tipoff steadily approaching

So, on behalf of myself and other PirateCrew.com members, I say 'HELLO' and then I follow that up with 'HELP!!!'

Check the USF thread from this board that I'm referencing - this is no aim to scam anyone - I'd PPV to see the game if it were possible - unfortunately, it's just a case of some questionable (with respect to Net Neutrality) arrangement between ISPs and ESPN and means that, short of my canceling my Internet Access with one ISP and signing up for another, there is NO WAY to see this game that is free to others

Here's the thread back from September on SouthFloridaBulls.com - anyone who was on that thread or who got to see that game, COME THROUGH please!

Is Bobby Gonzales going to pan out for you guys?  So far, no Luis Flores' going to seton hall.  

Another story of a mid major coach hired to do a big boy job and not being able to get it done.  Sounds like a story I know too well.

I was able to get around it by logging into the university vpn. I don't know of another way...sorry.

Huh?  You know we have the Big East Rookie of the Year right now (Eugene Harvey) right?  And if things aren't just a "name" popularity contest, his freshman partner Larry Davis could just join him on that team as well.

And you also know that this is Bobby's first year and that we're playing well with ZERO frontcourt, right?

Actually, maybe I shouldn't write "right?" so many times because I'm not sure I'm right - we could well be a tourney team next year, and then back to upper-tier Big East 08-09/09-10 - things are looking (and developing on the recruiting scene) NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE - we are ecstatic so far - above and beyond what even the greatest "Gonzo" supporters could have hoped in such a short amount of time - beating the pants off metro-area mates Rutgers and St. Johns on all sides, as well

ah well - I think that is the consensus (but if, magically, anyone else knows a way, please let me know) - I guess it's Internet radio for me for that game - thankfully, this will be last one this year I don't get to "see"

Find someone with a verizon internet account. Wireless phone accounts do not work.

Here is a work-around:

Find someone with access. Then have them switch to full screen. Right click the video and find the link. (Right click then properties) copy and paste that link to a public forum and then click on it. They may have fixed that issue by now.

You could try the "Bugmenot" logins but they rarely work.
