I just got a call from my sister in Wilmington, Delaware and apparently she just ran into Joe Paterno.  She was picking up her son who was sick at school, and she noticed this old guy with a cane and a PSU windbreaker.  She thought the guy looked familiar, and then it dawned on her that it was JoePa.  He actually went up to her as if she was going to show him around the school.  Pretty funny stuff.  The school he was visiting is one of the powerhouses in Delaware, Saclesiana (not sure of the spelling).  That place is no joke, always winning state championships in football, basketball, baseball, you name it.  I'm pretty sure they stockpile Division 1 talent at this private Catholic school.

After a little research, I found out that PSU has a verbal from Andrew Szczerba from Salesianum School in Wilmington, Delaware.  I guess JoePa is just making sure.  Kid sounds very good and big (6'6 tight end).
