to Kansas City.  Good deal for him. He should finally get the opportunity to start, even if it is in K.C.

"The left-handed hitter with the Gold Glove-caliber defense at first base served as one of the more popular and versatile influences in the White Sox clubhouse. Many people within the White Sox system believe Gload could be a .280 to .290 hitter with 80 RBIs potential if he received more consistent at-bats during the season, a change which is apparently on the horizon for Gload in Kansas City. I think it's a great oppertunity for him in KC. He will get plenty of PT, the fans (the ones who show up) are great there and the stadium is awesome. Look at all the talent that has come out of KC in the past 10 years. Beltran, Damon and company. This is his time to shine!

Great opportunity for Ross.  Having played with him I can honestly say that I think he can hit .300 just about anywhere.  A true hitter and an all around good player.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
