ok I went to NeonCentral web site as advertised in the St. Pete times..to see what they have to offer in USF products..well they have none..so I emailed them and just got a response from them stated they are not licensed to Manufature USF products..so my question is this..do I email them back and tell them to get either s&*% or get off the pot and get a license to manufature are products or is this the fault of the University for not allowing this..is this the same reason we dont see store cards with the USF logo on them at Loews and HomeDepot..is this part of marketing??? enquiring minds would like to know...and as always GO BULLS

What was the advertisement in the Times?

Did it say to 'visit neoncentral.com' for USF merchandise?

If so, I'd go back to the Times with your information.

Licensing is a long and sometimes expensive process. If companies cant get enough preorders to make it worth their wild they simply dont go through with the process. Be patient and give it about another 5 years. We will be just as big as UF and FSU

Allow me to bring up an older post on the Neon Topic

I believe the route for us to take is to talk to one of the major Bulls stores. From what I understand the stores have 'licenses' on the logos and could potential order such things to be manufactured.

Given the typical pricing from places like these:

http://www.neoncentral.com/catalog.jsp?pageName=UNIV

http://www.signsdirect.com/Home/Eastern-Schools

http://www.neonsignsanddecor.com/group.asp?grp=51

http://collegeneonsigns.com/

I would expect that the first batch of such a sign would run 300.00 or more.

I believe you are not quite up to speed on licensing.

Actually, he might be right.  Why do you think that they have such a HUGE selection of USF stuff that you cannot get anywhere else?  Seems plausible to me.

I am up to speed, but until a company knows how many to make or how many folks are willing to pony up, there will be no action.   I am still pissed I can't get a USF logo on the Columbia shirts at Bealls.  I am pissed I can't get USF anything in most of the Bealls in Orlando.

The big three have neon, in order to be the #4 school in Florida to get it, money will do the talking.

My Christmas list to Santa for logo stuff...

Iconic U neon sign  - see links above

Logo Tailgate tent -  http://www.everywherechair.com/lc-tent-clr.html

Cubavera logo'd shirts in XXL -

Any decent logo'd shirts in XXL

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
