Were they updated after this weekend's games?  That might have been the listing as of last week.  All accounts have East Carolina as the CUSA representative.

It's possible, but I see the Armed Forces bowl looking to take Tulsa because of its proximity.

Rice (in Houston) is closer to the New Orleans Bowl than Birmingham and ECU is closer to Birmingham than New Orleans ...

So it makes logical sense that it will be ECU.

I know everyone's breaking out their crystal balls, these are updated projections involving these 3 C-USA teams from SI's Stewart Mandel:

Dec. 23 Armed Forces TCU (MWC) vs. Rice (C-USA)

Dec. 23 PapaJohns.com USF (Big East) vs. Tulsa (C-USA)

Dec. 22 New Orleans Troy (Sun Belt) vs. East Carolina (C-USA)

Has FSU not official gotten the Emerald Bowl yet? I thought that was announced last night, or was that just a non-official sure thing?

The Tallahassee Democrat reported that the Emerald Bowl was going to send a formal invitation.  Not sure if has been accepted or not.  It may be that they can not officially accept until the Wake-GaTech game.

The Emerald Bowl is a done deal, they are just waiting on Saturday's game to get it signed.
