The 6-foot-4, 205-pound safety/tight end at Pickerington (Ohio) Central High (12-1) helped lead his team to the state Region II championship with a win over Bishop Waterson on Friday night. Then he celebrated with all Ohioans on Saturday as No. 1 Ohio State defeated hated rival Michigan. Peters, a self described "huge Ohio State fan," has been in contact with USF defensive coordinator Wally Burnham, and one of Peters' prep coaches checked out the USF campus while on a recent visit to Tampa. The talented prospect, who leads his team in tackles and receptions, will get a chance to do that for himself in 2007 when he'll make an official visit in January. Guest TKBlue(Guest)
E.T., I agree we are recruiting him as a safety BUT we did not recruit two TEs last year, only one, and with two TEs graduating we are definitely in the market for at least one TE (and are in the hunt for a couple of good ones)
