I always thought upside down was a bad thing.

It is used (negatively) upsidedown (palms toward the body) by opponents of the UT Longhorns.

I always display my bull palm out. Palm in to me is usually reserved for Sigmas or "Rock on!"

I like the palm out look better.  Maybe I'm just used to seeing the hook 'em horns sign.
