The USF at Louisville game Nov. 18 will be televised by ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU. The possibilities: 7:45 p.m on ESPN or 7 p.m on ESPN2 or ESPNU. A decision won’t be made until Saturday night or Sunday. The network is waiting for results of this week’s games and will decide among Rutgers at Cincinnati and a couple of ACC games (Virginia Tech at Wake Forest and Maryland at Boston College) before deciding which network will televise USF-Louisville. For USF fans making the trip to Louisville and are dying to see some hoops, the Cardinals basketball team opens the regular season the same day in Freedom Hall against Northwestern State Saturday at 1 p.m.If Wake and Maryland are still tied for 1st place in the ACC I can't see those games not getting the ESPN 1 and 2 time slots. Maybe they will lose this week, though (Wake plays FSU, Maryland plays Miami). Maryland and BC would prboably be for ACC Atlantic division then, though, so we'll see. Rutgers game would be less attractive if Louisville beats Rutgers this Thursday, so a few reasons to hope that happens. If Wake loses this week to FSU and Louisville takes care of Rutgers, I could see the USF-Louisville game getting 1 of the top 2 TV spots there.I'm going for ESPN 1 or 2 because I don't get ESPNU, but I would of course be heading out to a sports bar if it's on ESPNU, so either way it's a good thing that USF will be on TV I suppose.Another reason it would be a letdown to lose to Syracuse this week, heh.
