Hello all. Pitt has been off for quite some time but that's been a good thing because the Panthers needed a break and they needed to heal, both emotionally and physically. Next up is South Florida and while the Bulls present a challenge because of their team speed and the number of athletes they have on both sides of the ball, it is a game the Panthers should win.

The key will be to contain the freshman quarterback, Matt Grothe, and also to not let the Bulls make big plays on special teams. The special teams are why the Bulls are so dangerous, though, because their team speed allows them to make big plays, whether it be blocked kicks, returned punts or just great kick coverage. Pitt must be wary of this and work to not give up cheap touchdowns in the special teams. If the Panthers avoid those mistakes, I think they'll be fine.
