UL leads 7-6 at half

is UL still out of synch?

or is cuse defense that much improved?

brohm just doesnt have the weapons around him that he use to.  without mike bush in the backfield teams are dropping 5 players into coverage.  with bush they had to have a lot of 8 man fronts that would really open it up for brohm.

Wrong, UL has plenty of weapons. #7 WR Urutia is a very top notch receiver. The point is that this is a classic trap game for UL. Syracuse is a much improved team from a year ago. I am watching this game on Gameplan, and I can tell you that the Syracuse defense is looking pretty good in this game. It is hard to believe that their defense has given up so many yards during the past 4 games. Syracuse wants this game to turn their program around. UL better come to play in the second half or they will lose.

weapons in the backfield is what i am talking about if you would read the post.  mike bush really changed the way a defense could play a game.  anytime you have an RB that is bigger then most LBs you have to gameplan for that.

by the way....i have mentioned this before...but i am so sick of hearing the words "trap game"  i dont know why this term became so popular this year.  seems like everywhere you go you hear it.

14-6 now. Louisville scored on first possesion of 2nd half. Looks like they are back on track now. Turnovers were killing them again.

Syracuse drilled Brohm, forcing a fumble they recovered and ran back inside of Louisville's 10 yard giving them their second field goal.
