No way UL and WVa would both go to a BCS game, they play each other too late in the season.

USF can make that game meaningless anyway!

Would love to see us playing in Birmingham, I could actually make that drive.

only way that both Louisville and WV go to BCS game is that one team is undefeated and the other team's only loss is to the other.  AND.....every other potential at large team has ATLEAST 2 losses.  a 2 loss big 10 runner up like michigan would almost certainly pass over the 2nd place big east team...likewise for the SEC runner up.  or even 3rd place SEC team if there is an upset in the SEC title game.

i thought each conference could only get 2 in BCS games?  if louisville beats WVU both teams could finish in top 5.

When they place will have no bearing if they make a BCS game or not. You'd have to figure that the loser wouldn't fall too far in the polls unless they were blown out, which probably won't happen.

The bigger factor is what other teams in other conferences do. With 4 at large bids available there will certainly be room for the Louisville/WVU loser. There are many teams (Cal, Tennessee, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Iowa, Georgia, Arkansas, Oregon) who currently have 1 loss that will more than likely have 2 before the season ends. I excluded ND because a 2 loss ND  team will get one of the 4 at large bids. Missouri should come back down once they hit the heart of the Big 12 schedule. Michigan will probably get a bid with 1 loss. Boise State could run the table and take another bid depending on where they fall in the BCS poll.

Plenty of football left to be played from now until early December, so it's tough to say that there is "no way" an 11-1 WVU or Louisville is going to be left out.

If WVU loses they will fall out of the top 5 of the BCS their strength of schedule already has the computers hating them (average rank 17th). They have to win out to be in the top 6 and be an automatic selection because of the top 6 rule.

In the Jerry Palm BCS projections WVU is currently ranked 9th (behind 1 loss ND, Tennessee, and Texas. Losing to Louisville will hurt them very much in those standings. Louisville MIGHT be an at large selection so long as they only lose to WVU.

I will also say this, someone is going to get one of those two teams. It RARELY happens the way people project it. The BE is improved and Pitt, Rutgers, and to some extent USF (I need to see more UConn games and less UCF/FIU/Kansas) have shone the ability to beat one. I think Pitt will take down one of those two teams.

There is no way WVU, Louisville and Notre Dame are all BCS bound.  The odd man out is a lock for the Gator Bowl.

1000-1 that both go to a bcs game

big east is considered the weakest bcs conference so there will only be one team from big east

big east cant complain they get most teams into ncaa basketball tourney
