UConn was pulse check, UNC is a heart check

The UNC test:  

1) Can USF beat a team the its supposed to beat on the road?  

2) What impact at all will the three returning players have? A running game and a pass rush?

3) How much heart do they really have? Good teams win when they are supposed to win.

(1) Yes, UNC got the beating that they were supposed to have gotten!

(2) Julmiste, Ponton, and Chambers made their presence felt, especially Ponton. Matt didn't have to carry the entire offense today.

(3) Our guys were all heart today. After every momentum shift in favor of UNC, our guys went out there and executed. USF only had four penalties --great effort!

This was about getting closer to the necessary 6 wins for bowl eligibility, and it was about RESPECT! Our team did wonderfully!

And I really enjoyed that 7 plus minute drive towards the end of the game ... but only 3 points
