He was forming the wedge on a kick return and got knocked out. He was moving his hands and arms but they carried him off just to be safe. Don't really have any more of an update then that. LOUIS (Oct. 1, 2006) -- Detroit Lions guard Frank Davis was taken off the field on a truck after he injured his neck on the opening kickoff of the second half in a game against the Rams. Davis was taken to a hospital, but had movement in his arms and legs, Rams spokesman Rick Smith said. Davis was blocking on the return when he went down at about the Detroit 17. He was down for several minutes, during which trainers unscrewed the face mask from his helmet. He was placed on a board, then lifted onto the back of a truck. Players from both teams stood on the field silently, some bending to one knee. Davis, a 6-foot-3, 325-pound undrafted free-agent from South Florida, was signed by the Lions on May 4. Uhhhhhhhhhh...............name drop much?  : Bitter much? I have met several quality individuals in my life and the fact that I recognize them as such is a tribute to them - not name-dropping. It doesn't seem to me that Mr. Lurkle was "name-dropping" as much as commenting positively on a former player... what's wrong with you?
