Why are Thundersticks Illegal???

Thundersticks are pretty lame.  If you need that to make noise, then go to a Japanese baseball game.

Yep. If God didn't want you to scream your lungs out, he wouldn't have given you a voice capable of recovering over the course of the next few days. So there!

Hmm, are you sure it was USF and not some company wanting advertisement... Like Collegiate Hall!!

It was USF, there's no advertising on them.

Actually, there have never been thundersticks or cowbells permitted at USF football games since USF joined a conference.  C-USA allows thundersticks but not cowbells.  The Big East does not allow any artificial noise makers.

In fact, the officials can even penalize a team for the band playing during game action (after the snap).  15-yards, unsportsmanlike conduct on the bench.

So, USF asks Raymond James security to enforce the policy to prevent our fans from causing problems for the team.

and we dont need any more penalties than we already have
