When is our youth going to stop being an excuse for inexcusable penalties? Excessive/unwarranted penalties have been killing us for the past 10 years, and they will continue to be a thorn in our side until the coaches can get this under control. I Bleed Awesomeness Posted September 25, 2006 Group: Member Topic Count: 64 Content Count: 856 Reputation: 58 Days Won: 2 Joined: 09/10/2006 Author Share Posted September 25, 2006 im not exactly sure why that has been the blame for inexcusable penalties in the past. all im saying is that, now, starting as many freshman as we do, you HAVE to expect there to be a larger amount of penalties than if we started all 3rd and 4th yr guys. its common sense. obviously, if penalties have been a major issue the last 10 yrs, then coaching is to blame...and im sure thats part of the problem now too. however, while all the young guys are developing thru the "learning curve", hiccups are definitely expected....not necessarily excusable, but expected nonetheless.
