Our 8 RB's that we play

none of them are very good.  That has to be the reason we can't run it.  Because Grothe gets plenty of time to throw it...so the pass blocking is good.

Our run game is non-existent.

Rod Smith has improved 10 fold from last year.  Regardless of the loss -- we look like a good college football program.

Congratulations, Ari.  Master of the obvious!

That doesn't mean the run-blocking is good (though I think it is).

No, the QB play has improved 10 fold from last year.  He wasn't that bad last year, and isn't that great this year.

Regardless of the loss -- we look like a good college football program.

Finally, we agree.  Not Top 25, but we'll win a fair number of games.

Eight? USF only traveled with four Saturday, and Cannon didn't play. But yes, those three -- eight carries, 15 yards, one big fumble -- didn't have much.

If Grothe can make the yards with his "style", PJ's running "style" is similar, why not use him as a running back???? :-? :-? :-?

He's not as tough as MG, but I think that he might be able to do something more than 15 yards in 8 carries.

But that would mean Rod Smith would have to wake up and think clearly. :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/

Anybody want to consider that maybe the battle at the trenches might need some look on. They are the key to winning any game. A good line can make an average back or Quarterb ack look great and a great back look average.

Guest BasketBull.

I Bullieve in physics: you can't run into a wall. I feel it's half and half. The line needs to open some holes and the backs have to be quick about making their decisions.

you are correct both of our lines suck

why?

why didnt we recruit juco players to shore up obviuos weaknesses that the coaching staff should have known about

usf can beat very bad teams but not average teams.

very disappointing

usf deserves better

usf is not getting their money's worth from leavitt
