Ok, to be more specific: Why is this game NOT on tv in the Tampa Bay area?!!

(note: i've been focused on plans to attend the game, and didnt actually realize it wasnt televised until about 5 min ago. if i'm 3 days behind, shoot me.)

Actually the Tampa area Brighthouse doesn't carry it for some reason, yet must other Brighthouse providers do around the nation.

It cannot be shown locally because CSTV created a deal with OLN. OLN picks the games they show and does not allow CSTV to subcontact games to local markets.

Gotta talk to the TAMPA provider about that.

We won't do that.

CSTV announced they would carry this game Nationally at 2:30 pm kickoff about 2-3 months ago.

Also, Brighthouse (TimeWarner) in Orlando and Tampa do not carry CSTV...just like they don't carry some other sports stations that are in conflict with them.

CSTV UPDATE: Fans not able to make the drive to Orlando on Saturday or not wanting to spend the afternoon at a sports bar can watch the CSTV telecast on the Internet.

The game, with the broadcast team of Tom Hart and Trev Alberts, will air on Dish Network (Ch. 152), DirecTV (Ch. 610) and Knology Cable in Pinellas County (Ch. 195).The game also will be available on CSTV.com's CSTVXXL package, which is $14.95 per month or $99.95 per year. CSTVXXL allows fans to access an array of content, including audio and video of more than 10,000 live events, press conferences, news, features and archived games.

Another Web site, www.Conferenceusa.com, also will carry the game on its CUSA All-Access package. This package is $9.95 per month or $79.95 annually.
