WVU is scary good -- they might win it all if they get a shot

They could... they need a little help.  Texas-Ohio State, USC-Notre Dame are games that will thin the pack ahead of them... but Auburn is there still - WVU could end up 12-0 and in 3rd or 4th behind USC, Texas and maybe Auburn.

Time will tell, and there's a reason they play the games on the field.

But WVU has the schedule to get them to the National Championship game.

jim is so right

all those teams could have 1 loss and get more respect than undefeated wv team

bushless ul has gone down in stcok second year even though they have depth at rb

if ul loses to miami in 2 weeks ul will get creamed in rankings

If WVU finishes undefeated, they will play in NC game.  There won't be 3 undefeateds ahead of them.  A one loss team also will not finish ahead of them.  They have too good a head start, starting at #5.  If they had started much lower, then maybe.  WVU has earned a lot of respect from national media, due to Sugar bowl win.

2-1 vs the ACC.  I'll take it and so will Mike Tranghese I'm sure.

Pat Forde from ESPN was all over this.  He said the BE would be 6-1 after the first weekend, with the only loss being Syracuse.  How is that for prognostication?
