Not going to TD waterhouse, so we'll be looking for a place to park also. The lot R sounds like as agood as any. We have at least ten in our group.Look for a green and white umbrella with a BULLS COUNTRY sign on it.GO BULLS!
Knightrogen Oxide Posted August 29, 2006 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 4 Reputation: 0 Days Won: 0 Joined: 08/04/2006 Share Posted August 29, 2006 JB,It is less than a mile, probably 1/2 mile walk from the street. It is safe to tailgate there for our 6:00 PM games, and will especially be safe for the USF game with the time of day this game is being played. Your 11:00 arrival should be fine, if you can't get into Lot R at 11:00 something strange is happening.

How about lots P & R? About how far are those lots from the stadium, hard to judge a map.  It seems like there are a ton of lots, how come everyone is saying parking is so difficult?Lots P, R, and Jones High School are PUBLIC LOTS and are open to ANYONE.Those are all City owned lots so no need to park in people's yards, etc...But they will fill up fast...but if you get there early (say 10 AM), there shouldn't be a problem getting nice spots just about 200-400 yds from the Stadium (not that far at all).Plus...they are almost all GRASS LOTS...which might be cooler than tailgating on the black asphalt lots of the TD Waterhouse Arena.KL

It is a church parking lot that is grass.Any USF'ers wishing to tailgate near the stadium will need to be there early. Anything less than 3-4 hours will make finding adequate areas tough. There are lots of places (private lots) around the stadium though. My advice to anyone making the trek, would be to arrive by 9-10am at the latest. 50,000 plus will be there.
