USF, Florida Atlantic Agree To Three-Game Football Deal

TAMPA, FLA. (August 17, 2006) – The University of South Florida and Florida Atlantic University have agreed to play a three-game football series with two games to be played at Raymond James Stadium and one at FAU, the two schools announced today.

The first game will be hosted by FAU, September 29, 2007. The Owls will then travel to Tampa to face the Bulls on October 2, 2010 and September 14, 2013.

The two teams have met once before with USF winning at Raymond James Stadium in 2002.

Good for FAU and USF.  USF, like UCF, want to play plenty of instate opponents and FAU helps build their exposure in other parts of Florida.

I don't have a problem with 2 for 1 or 1 for 0 with the little 3.  No one for ones with non BCS teams.  DW is doing a fantastic job, bringing in 1 for 1 series with BCS teams.
