Just curious smazza, how do you know the talent level of the recruits, especially living in L.A.?  How do you know whether or not we are recruiting the kind of kids that can become Big East Beasts?  How do you know what the coaches see in the recruits?  What do you base your comments on other than your perpetual anti-Leavitt angle?  

I thought so.

I think people that are going to continue to make claims such as these ought to back them up.  Just throwing out a downer every post isn't enough anymore....tell us more...some facts perhaps.

Yeah, I like those facts...now show me where it is a fact that we should be able to cherrypick any QB we choose off of the Top 25 list.  Seeing that we are not even on the national scene, I don't expect we can necessarily sway a Top 25 QB at this point.  If we do it is a bonus.

john brantley is from ocala.one would think leavit would have known him for 8-9 years

i expect my head coach that gets paid one million dollars a year to bring boat loads of 4 star players with an occasional 5 star

We beat a team by 4 touchdowns but have now fallen FURTHER behind them because they get a verbal from a supposed better qb than we get a verbal from..... neither of which will be eligible to practice with their team until a year from now ....... Makes perfect sense to me.  [smiley=thumbup.gif]

What I'm suggesting is that verbals from players who won't even be on campus until a year from now is no way to evaluate whether someone is falling behind or jumping ahead. We'll know 11/18 whether we're ahead or behind Louisville ......

were all worked up because we didn't have any commitments?    I guess we're all calmed down now?  I guess we'll have to focus on some other 'sky is falling' scenario.  Like....can we keep 'em?  On no, it is a long way to February.  If we don't win every game by 40 points, they might de-commit.  Oh no!

I believe he's injured right now but I think I read where they were pretty happy with how he was cioming along at wr. Plus, he may be the third string qb behind Leak and Tebow.
