list of schools to 7, I guess it is apparent that he didn't grow up wishing to be a Hokie.   ;D

Couldn't resist that one.

If he is smart he should realize that UF,LSU and Oklahoma have verbals already from high prospects in his position.

Parsons, Donovan to talk

Lake Howell senior Chandler Parsons said a face-to-face meeting in Gainesville with Gators Coach Billy Donovan in "three or four weeks" will shape his recruiting game plan.

UF has offered, and Donovan might ask for a commitment. But Parsons said his preference is to take at least a few official campus visits in September before choosing. His other six favorites, as of Monday, are Louisiana State, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Indiana, Oklahoma and USF.

If UF did offer, this game is over.  This kid grew up dreaming of playing for the Gators.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
