Joe Posted June 26, 2006 Group: Member Topic Count: 197 Content Count: 10,251 Reputation: 270 Days Won: 14 Joined: 08/16/2005 Share Posted June 26, 2006 I've heard through the grapvine that the Big East has dropped out of any agreement with the Houston Bowl and has been replaced by the MWC and C-USA along with the Big 12.There is a new group trying to save the game and run it in mid December with lower payouts. They are meeting with the NCAA tomorrow to have the game approved (as in the NCAA's eyes it would be a new game because of a new group running it).
