ok... fine it doesn't help you make contact, but it will make the ball go further because of extra strength... we aren't talking about singles, we are talking about homeruns, ie POWER HITTING... there is a direct relation.  Fine, he has talent to make contact with fastballs... but steroids aid his power.  At least you aren't arguing he hasn't used them now.  an improvement.

No, until I actually see any type of proof, I still hold Bonds as innocent with regards to using steriods. Because his head "is bigger" isnt really very good proof.

Sure there is... Steroids make you stronger... you can't argue that they don't without sounding naive.  And this isn't court of law anyhow... its court of public opinion and suspicion IS enough, as is a enlarged skull, which is a direct symptom of HGH.

Stronger yes, faster/quicker no. Bat speed is more important in hitting a ball further than strength. And strength doesnt necessarily coorelate with speed.

last night bonds was 1 for 2 with 2 walks.his homers are rockets.his bat speed is out of this world.

i think bonds is going for .400.he would never admit it but that is really only offensive stat that eludes him.Further, the intentional walks make it easier for him to hit .400.

If bonds hits .400,KR will demand an asterisk or two.
