last night bonds was 1 for 2 with 2 walks.his homers are rockets.his bat speed is out of this world.

i think bonds is going for .400.he would never admit it but that is really only offensive stat that eludes him.Further, the intentional walks make it easier for him to hit .400.

If bonds hits .400,KR will demand an asterisk or two.

VG- because bonds is so efficient when he gets a pitch to hit I think he has an excellent chance to hit .400

I dont think anyone will ever hit .400 again and it certainly wont be a pull hitter like bonds who gets the big shuffle when he is at bat.  To hit .4oo you better walk a LOT and you better get close to minimum plate appearences.  I also never thought tallest player in NBA would be  chinese so I guess I could be wrong.

I know he will get his minimum and what I am saying is for a guy to hit .400 he will need to get around 502-550 plate appearences where as Bonds will get 625-675 and I think that hurts his chances.

I forgot about the human string bean.  It is amazing that tallest starting center in NBA is chinese and greatest male golfer is black.  I would have put my life's savings on that not happening ever, 20 years ago.
