sbien sees the glass half full

smazza sees it half empty.

I'd rather hang with sbien.

Smazza has higher expectaions.

S. Bien is just happy there is a team to talk about.

USF would be a better team with more fans like smazza and less like S. Bien

Id rather hang with Smazza.

This thread is hilarious.  ;D

I thought Hall would go third round at the highest; but for him not to get drafted at all was pretty shocking imo. I blame it on the Big East's pathetic football season...with a touch of Hall's lack of size.

I'd rather hang with Jessica Simpson.

Yeah, as soon as my non-compete with ESPN expires I'll look into it....I'm a cross between Howard Stern, G. Gordon, and Bob Costas. Better looking than all three of course.  :)

Ahhh, well I would say you and spazza are in a class all by yourself so you should feel good because you're already hanging with spazza.

I have high expectations, but I am also a realist.  A realist understands the position we're in, where we're going, and what it takes to accomplish that and thus I can measure my expectations.  I don't go demanding championships when we're not capable of doing it, when I know we don't YET have all the pieces to the puzzle.  If I did then I would be a sad, and depressed individual like you and spazza.  Guys that spout off with no basis, whine about not achieving the unthinkable then get frustrated when there is no cause for it.

Thanks for putting yourself in spazza's class, but the truth is most of us already put you there.  I know what success is, I achieve it every day on a personal level, I don't need to sit around and be a whiner wondering why it isn't happening to me or something I am affiliated with.

Thanks for noticing Hermie.

sbien-the king of the excuse group has spoken

the reason we dont have the pieces to the puzzle is because leavitt is incapable of getting them

we have rod smith!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we have pj!!!!!!!!!!!!

we have crummy special teams.oh yeah leavitt is the coach of special teams

sbien-the problem with you is that you have no expectations

smazza,  You would be funny if you weren't so sad.

Settler, welcome mediocrity - No.  Happy to belong - Yes, but not to this board, USF or any other such relatively trivial group.

Sports should be fun and a diversion from the real stresses of life.  Ask Andre Hall what his priorities were on Sunday night, the second day of the draft.

I don't know why I am going to do this, but I have decided to tussle one more round with smazza.  I still for the life of me can't believe you're an attorney, all the attorney's I work with deal in absolutes, and admitted facts.  Yet you contradict yourself on almost a daily basis.

Here, you blame Leavitt for being 'incapable' of getting the pieces to drive us to perfect.  Now you still never countered my claim that we lack the resources to get it, but in the past you've been VERY QUICK to chastize the Athletic Department about the lack of salaries.

SO, I ask you, since you admit the athletic department has been deficient in providing Leavitt with all the necessary resources then how can you undeniably state Leavitt is incapable?  How can one be incapable if he's limited in his approach.

Spazza, I have expectations, but mine are measured.  I expect this year's team to go 8-4, honestly, much less than that I will be surprised.  Anything more than that I will be surprised.  Of course spazza, and his 1 or 2 minions think otherwise.

Thanks for the respect smazza.
