My hope is that the coaching staff wants to see how Grothe moves the offense with the "2nd string" receivers versus PJ with the "1st teamers". They have lots of practice time to build a comfort level with the receivers, so if Grothe moves his offense better than PJ moves his, I think it will stand out a lot more in the coaches eyes.

I can see that both QB (Hill & Grothe) will have the same O to work with. The QB race is really Grothe vs Hill.
