I have heard from 4-10K people there ... counting the players and coaches and family  ;)

We had between 3,500 & 4,500 last season ... and it being at night will help - I think.

Well Bowden doesn't run a traditional spring game. It is more like a set scrimmage, where they just go through the motions. He has always downplayed the spring game and has often come out against it.

Add to the fact that the majority of FSU fans outside Tally live 2-3-4 hours away (Jax, Orlando, Tampa, Pensacola), it's a long drive for a scrimmage.

Joe,

A lot of coaches run more of a scrimmage than a full game for their spring practices.

I've seen O&B games where it was only 7 on 7, where they played a "first half" and then the 2nd half was 2 minute drills, field goal practices, etc.

People still come to watch.
