They may not want to risk a team with a terrible record somehow getting hot and securing the automatic bid.  I know it sounds crazy, but that's how UCF got in in 96.  While that was that TAAC, relatively speaking, it's the same.  UCF sweeping through the TAAC or USF or Notre Dame (or Louisville this year) making a run and getting some breaks in MSG.

Just a thought.

You can't be serious?  5 years? Thats your goal.  Hey hopefully we can get within the top 12 of the 16 teams in the BE in 5 years.  That is ridiculous.  I'll tell you why they wont let all 16 teams in, because they just added these crappy C-USA teams (including us, especially us) and they dont want to see us pollute the competition in the great tournament.  I attended the BE champs.  probably about 5 times in my life and it is the most exciting conference tourney.  They want to keep it that way, so the doormats arent allowed in.  

herm - anyone whos goal is only to make the BE tounrey in the next 3-5 years is not a real Bulls fan.  How about we make the NCAA tourney within 3 years and the BE tourney next year.  If we cant do that Mac you better take a hike.

its a big goal under the current staff..... and the majority of the people on this board accept that. That is sad. The supports of the program should be pouding at Wollards door demanding better. Would any other top program accept this ****?

we are on the same level as UCF FAU and FIU. Is that acceptable. We are a major program now we are a Big East Basketball team.
