If we should go winless (after last night it appears we will) we will be the worst team in the history of the Big East.

Only Miami in 93-94 went 0 for the league (0-18) and 7-20 overall

St Johns went 6-21 last year but did win one league game.

We will finish 6-23 (0-18) if we go 0-for the rest of the way.

We should be able to recruit handsomely off this . . .

I guess that is something to shoot for. Seriously, last nights loss to Depaul was a set back for McCullum IMO. His teams usually play good defense, but somehow they couldnt stop a struggling Depaul team. This loss will give more fuel to the fire for McCullum's critics. I am a supporter of McCullum, but I have to say losses against Depaul, FIU, and BCC does not do anything for me. The good news is that the Big East league play is half way over. Only 8 more games until we are put out of our misery. Next season it is on. If McCullum cant do anything next season then it is time for a change.

Half way through the conference season you are making some bold predictions.  I love the people on here who just assume the worst.  If you have watched this team play all year there is absolutely no reason to assume that they cant win one or more games down the stretch.  There are still 8 conference games left.  I would assume that 12 months from now you will be one of the many jumping all over the bandwagon.

Phil,

While I believe this team WILL win one, its going to be awhile before we're going to have a bandwagon. This offseason we're losing Jones and Holmes, argulably our two best players.  While I said 2 months ago I wouldn't comment on RMC until March 8th I will say this this team, no matter how many injuries they have, is a long way from being in the top 8 of the Big East

I have followed the team all year and know they are giving an effort night in and night out.

Unfortunately wins and losses are what really count.

Hey, I thought we would win last night and even bet us.

If we win before 2/26 or not, I will still be at the USF/Rutgers game.
