That ending was crazier than Cal-Stanford, the Music City Miracle, Flutie... Michigan got screwed real bad. You guys have to see that final play to understand where I'm coming from.

The Sheriff

Imagine if that guy had lateraled the ball one last time... that was crazy!

Agreed.. that play, hell that GAME was bonkers... And the officiating was crap... Ten bucks says "REMEMBER THE ALAMO" hangs in the Michigan locker room next year.

Also, anyone who thinks bowl games en masse are a travesty wasn't watching football today. BC-BSU wasn't bad either.

I think the refs just hauled ass in the middle of the play. There should have been a penalty for too many men on the field.  Nebraska's whole team was on the field.  Your right one more lateral and it might have been the best ever.

Not to mention that "fumble" ealier in the fourth quarter, among other horrible calls....this just fuels my hatred for Nebraska  >:(

And the fact that there was going to be absolutely no review at all unless UM called a timeout.  BS all the way until the non-called pass interference near the end of the game.  Frustrating.

Of course me being born a husker, I have to dispute the Michigan got screwed posts.  ;D  The last play had both teams on the field with Michigan players being more as a threat to disrupting the play. The last lateral seemed to be forward and the refs were scrambling and way out of position to see anything. I really do think they packed it in and left after the first few tosses to avoid getting lynched by both teams. With that being said the officiating was horrible but it went both ways. It was only fitting that they botched the last play but that one really could have been called on either team.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
