North Texas coach went to the NIT last year and Texas tech swooped him up. I think a lot P5 team will be interested in CAAR even if we don’t make the tournament. He was the mid major coach of the year last year and now he’s the AAC coach of the year. Who knows what other awards he will get. I think it’s ok to say that we are at least a lock for the NIT. Who knows what other awards he will get. McCasland went to and won the NIT last year and had a lot more extensive resume than CAAR.
