you just CANT say it can you? it's just not possible for you to single out our terrible quarterback, is it?

Our QB play was below average ... I would give it a D. PJ was not the answer, which many already feared. We did not have a #2 QB, until WVU, maybe. We´ll know more onthe evening of 12-31-05. Didn´t go n2 PJ on this thread because it´s about the bowl game and don´t think PJ will have more than 3 series. Hope he´s a non factor as hoping for Hill to play a pretty good game.

Hoping along with everyone that Hill sets the QB tone on NYE.

That's what NC State fans have felt for the past two years, also, but we didn't get it done with Philip Rivers and top 25 recruiting classes so I'm not sure (well, one 10-3 season).  The most disheartening thing about NC State over the past couple years is not the poor QB play, but the penalties and dumb play.  

The fans have been hard on Amato because five or six straight years of top 25 recruiting classes, millions of dollars worth of upgrades in stadium facilities and a huge boom in fan support has equated to 12-12 in the past two seasons.

Our QB play the last 2 seasons has been average to poor.  It also took a few games this year to get a solid running game going.

D is very good but overall team performance is up and down.  We beat FSU and came close to beating VT but got pounded by Clemson and lost to UNC and Wake Forest.

Sophomore QB got the start mid season and we ended 4-1 with the loss coming at BC.  An early TD pass was dropped by our tightend in that game that could have changed the momentum.

We run the ball well and sometimes pass the ball well.  This should be a really good game.  Both teams have similar strengths and weaknesses and I'm sure many of our Fla players know your players.
