Total Assets: $837,528,240. With the amount our endowment is supporting the university, I do not expect us to achieve a $1B endowment within the foreseeable future. I think average (or stated goal) of most endowments is ~5% distribution, last year we were roughly double that. Was hoping to be nearer the $1B mark this year, but 2021/2022 was a tough time for the market so that would have been quite the jump. Giving to USF GIVING.USF.EDU Financial Statements for the year ended June 30, 2023. EDIT: Will someone ELI5 the difference between reported Total Assets, Net position, and Endowment Assets? (Endowment Assets at bottom of page listed at $637MM. Are there other assets e.g. real estate that the USF Foundation holds which would not be considered endowment assets? If we google search xyz University's endowment - would we be comparing to the $837MM or $637MM number? Thanks all) Edited October 5, 2023 by USF_Bullsharks
