A fun Big East what if game…… Villanova and Georgetown?

We know that John Marinatto and Mike Aresco screwed the pooch with the Big East, whether it was the TV contract or not aggressively pursuing Kansas, KSU, Baylor and Iowa State; BUT, what if back in 2011, big John would have kept his invite for Villanova to move up to the BE in football AND invited Georgetown as well? They would have had the Philadelphia and DC markets (back when it mattered), and more importantly, they would’ve had the 2 most influential schools in basketball, on the side of football. Would this have been enough to keep the BE together? I always thought it would have provided enough support and stability amongst the basketball and football schools and maybe Pitt doesn’t bail. Thoughts?
