Omar Haugabook . . . weren't we interested in him in 2003-2004.  I hear he is a **** talented QB and goes to Dodge City. . . any chance of landing him?  Would make for a true battle for QB.

I remember hearing that when he was a SR in HS, we we're not heavy on him.

Not familiar with how he did in Dodge City, but maybe his stock has risen.

Seems we're already looking at a JuCo QB and wouldn't bring in another.

It says on scout.com that we offered him back then.  Might as well go ahead and toss another offer his way. I think we weren't too crazy over him since, from my understanding, it was pretty much assured he wouldn't qualify.

Rod Smith doesn't know $hit about QBs.  Why would we expect him to be after anyone other than a tweener, an athlete that can't play QB but isn't quite cut out to be a safety.
