Ticket Sales for the UM USF BBALL game

Does anyone know how many tickets has been sold for the basketball on Saturday

is that 6000 in addition to the season ticket holders/students?

6,000 including season and students would be GREAT!  That would surprise me.

it would be good... but if it is counting season ticket holders...remember that the entire lower level is essentially sold out for EVERY game anyway.  That represents 1/4 to 1/3 of the entire building (whether or not those people show up is a different story, but the money is already in USF's pocket).

1/4 of 11000 seats is ~2700

so the balance is about 3300 to get to the 6000... pretty good nonetheless.

"so, are you guys ready for Saturday?"

"yeah, we've sold over 6000 tickets."

"wow!"

I know the students will contribute more because we don't buy our tix ahead of time. I will get another count today when I go see Coach.

There should be a good student walk up crowd for that one.  The game is at 3 PM, so this doesn't interfere with anything going on that night.

I think the whole FREE aspect of the game will draw a lot of them...that and the fact that it'll be on espn2 (super excited)
