Coach Jose is a godsend for this program. Geno used to hate coming to Tampa to play usf. As well as Notre dame hated the Tampa trip. USF Lady hoop.is a power 25 program yearly

I don't think he hated coming down here. Being a wine guy he probably enjoyed Berns after beating us in hoops.

I get the whole Geno swag  thing. He's got the rings. But in terms of competition

He knew Jose was gonna play them to the end & give them havoc & fits. And Notre Dame coach was a friend of my friend from philly.she knew Jose would play them hard also. Met the old UNCW coach in a bar in N.J. & Jose had her respect as well. We got a gem.
