Akron just shocked NIU to win the MAC. Does this hurt USF's chances of getting a bowl bid if we lose to West Virginia? Akron would not have gone to a bowl game had they lost tonight. They can get a QB, but we can't seem to find one here in Florida?! wtf...

Guest Phil
Give J.D. Brookhart and his defense credit. Another outstanding receiver (Bryant, Fitzgerald). Zips' off coord comes from Duke (Franks).Either we get a rematch w/ Brookhart (3 days before 9/11/01 @ Pitt), N.C. State (who stole Mike Canales), or Clemson (where we got Rod Smith). Yes, Zonald was a Zip! I was at every home football game in 95 and 96. THEY SUCKED big time back then. Horrible, horrible team. The Rubber Bowl is OFF CAMPUS by about 20 miles and FREEZING cold in the winter. Good to see they are FINALLY doing something positive. What a difference a coach makes. I didn't see the game, but they have had some good QB's recently.
