I have experienced super emotional letdowns, just like you experienced today. i know how you feel- the magic was in the air. The season had a certain feel to it, like it was destiny and the Bulls were poised.

As A fan of WVU, I experienced the same feeling you have now, many many times over:

1988 Fiesta Bowl and WVU getting trouinced by Notre Dame

1989 comeback in Backyard Brawl

1993 Sugar Bowl Loss to Florida

The Gator Bowl, The Gator, etc

Last Year.

However, you guys have an awesome start and you will be there in the future. I have no Doubt

Chin Up, chest out, breathe in deep

Today's loss was ugly.  Bad coaching.  USF players out of position.  USF players obviously effected by the cold.  Poor player performances.  But actually, Swimmus, your 'Neers may be grapping a mad Bull by the tail w/no motivation to put up a big fight.  I hope the 'Neers don't embarrass the conference to bad.  Just go beat LSU or Georgia in the Sugar and gain this freakin' conference some respect.

thats part of the problem with all the bad talk around here.

we are in a big time conference now, with national implications.  this was the first time that we've had an impact on major college football issues.

the fans werent ready for it and they are not ready for it to be over either.

they got their hopes up high and now they are crushed.  we will bounce back.
