Do not be fooled by what you hear. The team, the fans and the staff are looking for a perfect season, this is not to taken lightly. Your team may not be Pitt (our hated rival) but you definitley are in the sights. As well, we understand that we need to keep the BCS ranking high to keep BCS bid for the BE. Trust me, it means a huge amount for WVU. if for some reason the Bulls upset WVU, the national media will be all over the BE and WVU in particular. As if we have not heard enough of it already. I have experienced super emotional letdowns, just like you experienced today. i know how you feel- the magic was in the air. The season had a certain feel to it, like it was destiny and the Bulls were poised. As A fan of WVU, I experienced the same feeling you have now, many many times over: 1988 Fiesta Bowl and WVU getting trouinced by Notre Dame 1989 comeback in Backyard Brawl 1993 Sugar Bowl Loss to Florida The Gator Bowl, The Gator, etc Last Year. Congrats on your win. I am glad to see you guys getting some favorable press and I hope you run the table. I will, of course, be rooting for WVU on Dec 3, but I will root for you guys when possible. This season is coming to a nice and surprising conclusion for all of us, I believe. I think that the Big east will be just fine by the time it is all said and done. next year, I fully expect you to be a contender in the top 25 and the BE with at least 3 in the top 25. Good luck the rest of the season and on Dec 3, may the game be the best "championship game" on TV that day.
