Thankfully there are only four teams competing for four Big east spots. This disappointing loss to a bottom feeder program like UConn would have certainly ended our hopes for a Bowl if Pitt had 6 wins instead of 5.

Thanks WVa for keeping us alive. We couldn't have done it without you.

It was our pleasure, but don't be so sure about them getting the bowl bid.  They do not travel very well.  Our game Thursday night was 75 miles south of Pittsburgh.  I saw perhaps 10 Pitt fans total and I was there from 3:00pm to 11:30pm.  I think I'd give the bid to the Bulls.

if uconn can somehow beat Lville next week they'd be silly to not pick uconn over us...so go L'ville.

The team that travels best will be the team that gets picked.  Nobody really knows how UCONN or USF will travel.  UCONN fans definately get behind their program and don't be surprised when their FB program begins to crack the top 25 down the road.  For now, I don't think you have anything to worry about. UL will likely destroy UCONN.  The Bulls are going bowling and you fans need to make the trip.  Too much fun to miss out on.

Brian Brohm is probably out for Louisville.  

Can the Cards' backup QB beat a U Conn team that will be fired up for a bowl game??  I expect Edsall to have the same game plan -- line up to stop the run and make their QB throw.
