So even if Virginia loses tomorrow and we beat them next week, who gets it then?  Pitt?

If we lose to UConn, and Pitt beats WVU, and we beat WVU then Pitt wins the BCS bid.  I do not see all three of those things happening, but that's why they play the games.

Ah actually Pitt wouldnt go in that scenario because you're forgetting about a little team named Louisville.  They also would only have 2 conference losses (given they win out - which they should).
