Then it's either a lack of leadership/courage or a lack of straightforwardness.  

How do you sink the whole team because you're ambivalent about whether you have a pitcher or not?

Pitching in the loser's bracket is a colossal failure of responsibility by both of them, IMHO.

Lol I think their mindset is keep everyone fresh for tonight’s elimination game then go all in tomorrow for hopefully two games.

With a pitcher that will need another day off tomorrow if she in fact pitches on her day off today?  

Maybe our goal was just to finish second and point to how good FSU is (again).  Smells of surrender if Corrick pitches elim game ON HER DAY OFF.  I don't get it at all.

If she's really hurt, she won't/should not pitch elim game if she couldn't go in this game...

Then again, maybe I don't understand this game and the strategy in play here.

That's a losers mentality. If she needed a break today. That's means she has to pitch the next 3 games in a row for us to win. We all know we have zero chance against good teams if she doesn't pitch.

He pretty much conceded we were going to lose this game today no matter what. Which is a horrible mindset when you have one of the top 5 pitchers in the country. He let his team down today big time.

The expression on his face was priceless when the announcer suggested USF will try to chip away at the FSU lead.

Maybe if Howard pulls the upset we might pitch someone else? Howard stayed with the Noles until a silly mistake made it go downhill

Because they pitched their best pitcher against FSU. As would have any other coach.
