Actually, contacting SG would probably not be the route you'd want to take. SG this year isn't terribly supportive of event planning or Athletics. In fact, the executive branch isn't at all.

I would contact Amabel Aqui, staff member who oversees the Student Bulls Club. They always plan away game trips for students and look for alumni to help subsidize the cost to the students.

Brittany is also a Board Member (gurlybull) so I'm sure she could put you in contact with the right people.

P.S. That's really awesome that you are thinking about doing that. I hope to be in that situation someday soon, to be able to give to empower a student.

   You can sure sponsor me, lol...I earned a free flight and that is how I got my airfare, cuz otherwise i couldnt have gone.  I was looking at tix for the Sugar Bowl and they were like $135, guess our student id's wont work there huh?  I had no idea.  Now I am stressing about that...That price is going to be a stretch for a lot of students unfortunately.....so we are working on a package, but any help is amazing.  We need to all work together on this one.  I look forward to the day when I have the means to give back to Athletics or sponsor a student...it is in the list of goals!

gurlybull, I live in ATL, and trust me you'll be able to get into that game for under $35.  Most likely for around $20.  The only way the price goes up is if UGA wins the SEC Championship game.  If they win you'll still get in for under $35 or so.  Its on a Monday too, so that might deter some fans from traveling that normally would go if it were on a weekend.

Put it this way, Braves don't even sellout for Playoff games.  Atlanta is a buyers market.
