(this is why Boise is looking at staying and TV money). Also points to 6 leaving ACC. That is not good. It looks like we will lose UConn, Cincinnati, Boise State, and probably San Diego State. Our conference situation keeps getting worse. This is good for USF, if ACC takes UConn and Cincy as 15&16, with ND as 17 in BBall and possibly 3 BBall teams GT, Nova, ST Johns, I think FSU and Miami would leave without B1G or SEC expanding, then ACC will need to fill Fla void with USF/UCF IMO. Now how many other teams leave ACC is up in air. Only way FSU leaves first is further dissolution of Football powers, which is what UConn and Cincy does in FSUs mind. I highly doubt FSU and Miami leave the ACC to a conference other than the Big 10 or SEC, before other defections-especially when the ACC might be making close to as much as the Big 12. I also doubt the ACC would invite us, while already having 18+ members. Edited December 22, 2012 by Florida Bull

FSU only leaves first if dissolution continues towards BBall with Cincy and UConn. FSU is talking with WVU now in regards to our soon to be Tier 3 contract. FSU would be looking at $15 mil, with WVU bid package ( explained earlier in breakdown but their TV would be $10-11 and radio, marketing, managing ticket sales $4-5). Money is not close as reported per ACC, it will come out in Marylands case. New ACC would vote in USF/uCF as they know they need FLa and ESPN will push them 2, but Uconn and Cincy are first in ESPNs plan. Risk collapse - yes- ultimately being the conference ate up - how does this go down (Texas- ACC(LHN), Kansas/OU B1G, WVU/OSU - SEC, PAC 12 4 of the rest) - Honestly Big 12 makes the most sense to me to go away. FSU will not rush out but if Cincy/Uconn comes aboard will head out. FSU knows the financial details of the contract, they are pushing for $25 mil from ACC/ESPN/ Raycomm a year for all 3 (TV) tiers, even if it means unequal revenue sharing in the ACC. FSU isn't the only teams that don't want those 2. This is becoming a FOX/ABC battle for supremacy , with CBS taking their cut, and NBC on the outside looking in except for ND Edited December 22, 2012 by jvwvu

Yes if it costs them a chance at the final four, RPI. Right now Duke, Wake, BC, and even to a point UVA hurts them, adding UConn does more damage, Cincy is a decent add, UL was a good ad. 1 loss FSU might not get into a playoff. Jimbo wants out now, Admin doesnt if Admin & BOT see further issues about getting there you make the move. All we are hearing is teams making plans and back up plans. They all have to without knowing whats going on. But there is absolutely ZERO chance that Boise or SDSU leave the Big East until they know for 100% certainty that atleast 2 of the major east market teams are leaving (no matter who they are: Cincy, UConn, USF, UCF. etc....). Until that happens, I wouldnt worry. And considering that 2 of the Big East teams aren't leaving until likely 2 ACC teams leave, then this is all much to do about nothing until then.
