Guest S. Bien
If memory serves Major Harris and Ryan Leaf were Heisman contenders, and Gino Toretta won the Heisman.  Not exactly good comparisons to Pat Julmiste.  Chris Rix might be a good one, since no one ever knew which Rix would show up, but he was much higher a recruit coming in than PJ.He will be remembered as the QB of the first USF bowl team, that no one can deny.Because they were winning QB's on winning teams. If your memory served you well you'd remember the kind of passer Major Harris was and realize that the heisman nomination had little to do with his passing acumen, and more to do with his leadership and legs. Why don't everyone one of you allow him to finish his legacy before tagging him. He's still got a season and a half to finish the story. He's clearly improved each year he's been at USF, granted it's baby steps, but it's still steps. He was easily our best qb, too bad he never stuck in the NFL.

Blackwell help give us confidence, that we could win games in conference play. PJ might not have the stats, but he's in the game doing other things. First lets get to a bowl game, b4 comparing.
