Does anyone know if Rutgers sells beer at their games?

I don't think they do, since its an on campus stadium.  I think that is the NCAA's rule about alcohol.

It's actually the school's and conference's call. Pitt didn't sell any Heinz field. Talk about a game you needed one at half time.

That is surprising.  It seems like every other non conference stadium sells.  I'm pretty sure the Metrodome sells it for Minnesota, and Miami sells it at the OB.  Does the Citrus Bowl sell for UCF?

I don't think any on campus football stadium sells beer, and as far as I know, Rutgers is an on campus facility.

UCF does sell at the Citrus Bowl, but won't at the stadium being built on campus.  I'm pretty sure it's the schools call considering UCF has a sports bar on campus.

Citrus Bowl beer sales are being phased out in light of the shooting two months ago.

For the last time, the NCAA does not have any restrictions on beer sales except at championship events. More than half of the I-A programs that serve beer at football games have on-campus facilities. I think the total number is 18-22 or so, they come and go (more going than coming in this new age of appropriated prohibition)

I read that syracuse sells beer at the dome but does not sell it when they have NCAA tourney games there.

I think you can sell alchohol on campuus if you lease the vending....isn't that what USF does with the sundome?

I recall having some beer last yr when I went to a game in the dome.

The Sundome definitely sells beer. It was $6 a pop. My favorite vendor is the older gentleman that runs stand that Heineken, Labatt, and Amstell.

Where did you hear they were phasing out alcohol being sold at the Citrus Bowl?  So far they have only been cracking down on tailgating, since the shooting had nothing to do with alcohol being sold in the stadium. (no more beer funnels, kegs were banned a few years ago)

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
