Don't get too excited.  You have be pretty tech savy and know someone, somewhere who's IP receives ESPN360.

You can effectively bounce off their IP if you follow the instructions on this site: http://buzzsurf.com/surfatwork/surfatwork_ssh_apache.html

I will be testing it over the next day or so as my dad has adelphia for his IP.  I will let you guys know if it works.

You won't have enough upload bandwidth at your dad's house. Cable modem uploads are SLOWWWWWWWWWWWW.

I had a low-tech idea about how to do this:

1. Find one person who can access ESPN360.

2. Have that person download and install the ESPN360 app.

3. Use a app-sharing program like MS NetMeeting to share the image with other users.

AFAIK you can share any program via NetMeeting. Any reason this wouldn't work?

Refresh rate might be too low.  Usually those aren't made for 26+ frames per sec.   I don't know though.

I will work on the proxy issue tonight.  If I could find a proxy IP that makes ESPN think I'm in an area where 360 is available, then it should allow me access to same.  The theory sounds right, but I wonder if it will actually work.

The hard part will be finding a proxy where 360 is available.

I'm on it though!

Here is a list of service providers that carry ESPN360: Adelphia, Beld, Bend, Charter (St. Louis and Los Angeles), Frontier DSL, Grande, Knology, Mediacom, Mid-Hudson, Spencer Municipal Utilities, Starstream Communications, Sus-com and Us Cable.

I figured that. But people use NetMeeting to play games, so maybe the frame rate will be decent.

That's using the ol' noodle GarySJ.  I like it.
