Bluechippers don't mean jack if they're out of position.  This definitely helps us, and we need all the help we can get.  We can win this game but its not like they can't.  They're favored for a reason, you know.

That said, I always feel sorry for guys that get injured and teams that cannot play at full strength.  That is precisely why OSU has the 2002 NC instead of Miami.  And trust me, I hate OSU a LOT more.

FYI - Randy Phillips was not a starting DB. He came in as a nickel back. Maxey is a starter, and may play on Saturday.

Would be nice is Miami's Hester sprained something before Saturday's game! I certainly do not wish for something bad to happen to him, but that would be huge for us!  That guy scares me every time he touches the ball! Certainly injuries to their starting lineup helps us in every way, even with their bluechips replacing them.  These Bluechips may be good, but our starters will mop the floor with them!

They can have there whole d-backfield out USF doesn't have a qb that could take advantage of it. I wish they did, I long for the day of more than 9 pass attempts in a game(even if it did work ONCE).
